Willie Charlene Neighbors, 85, of Pocahontas departed this life on May 27, 2024, at her home.

She was born December 7, 1938, in Fisher Arkansas to the late Willie Pearl and Charles Massey. She was a lifelong and charter member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church. Charlene was a homemaker, Sunday School Teacher, and an avid seamstress and quilter. She loved her flowers, and she loved cooking and reading her Bible. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Johnny Harold Neighbors Sr.; one son, Johnny Neighbors Jr.; one daughter Patricia Stallings; daughter-in-law Rosie Neighbors; two brothers, one sister, and one great granddaughter, Addison Hannah. She was survived by her daughter, Becky (Dan) Bowers of Pocahontas; son, Timmy (Sherri) Neighbors of Imboden. Twelve grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2024, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday June 1, 2024, with grandson, Hampton Owens officiating in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Thompson Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Landyn Bowman, Kevin Neighbors, David White, Michael Thompson Jr., Jo Stallings and Chris Moore.

Honorary pallbearers include all grandchildren.
