Tommy David Reed Sr., 85, of Pocahontas passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born July 3, 1937 in Pocahontas to the late Homer Neil Sr and Reva Jewel Allen Reed. Tom was the longtime owner of Kwik-Kool Heat & Air. He was a member of Sutton Freewill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and a Sunday School teacher. Tom was a Gideon and was passionate about spreading God’s word. He was married to the love of his life Billie Faye Bettis Reed for over 65 years. Tom loved God and lived his life so his family and friends could see God’s light through him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Neil Sr and Reva Jewell Reed; son, Tommy Reed Jr; great-great granddaughter, Raylynn Faye Kimble; and siblings, Neil Reed, George Reed, Stephen Reed, and Hazel Harmon. Tom is survived by his wife, Billie Faye Reed; daughters, Vickie (Dannis) Haley, Brenda (Charles) Clinton, and Pam (Doug) Thielemier; son, Allen (Denise) Reed; grandchildren, Terran, Amy, Brock, Sarah, Jessica, Austin, Colby, Makenzie, Brooklyne, Rose Hannah, Justin, Caleb, and Braden; fourteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

All services will be held at Sutton Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 6-8 PM. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 2 PM with Kevin Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in Sutton Cemetery. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Brock Thielemier, Austin Radcliff, Colby Reed, Gus Halliburton, Tanner Atkins, Justin Reed, Billy Muisick, and Gus Muisick.
