Thomas Nelson Bounds, 77, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Thomas was born on Thursday, September 26, 1946, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Homer Nelson and Esther Kaiser Bounds.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Homer Nelson and Esther Iola Kaiser Bounds.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Susan; son Jeffrey Thomas (Dawn Marie) Bounds of McKinney, Texas; daughter Dianna Lynn (Derek Joe) Medlock of Ravenden Springs; grandchildren Rachel Lauren Luedemann, Ryan Nelson Bounds, Derek Joe Medlock II, Teddy Dylan Medlock, Darren Christopher Thomas Medlock, and Deacon William Medlock; great-grandchildren Parker Ryan Liebhaber, Greyson Nelson Bounds, Everett Leslie Bounds, Meridith Lynn Bounds, Sutton Joe Medlock, Mila Grace Medlock, Stella Jo Medlock, Stetson Thomas Medlock, Cole Ander Luedemann, and Kainzle Rayne Luedemann; and special friends Mike Catron and Jim Bolton.

All services were held at Hope Gardens Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Arkansas. A visitation was held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The funeral service was held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. with Joe Medlock and Morgan Woodard officiating. Thomas was laid to rest in Sutton Cemetery.
