Redskins hosts Lamar in playoff game at Pocahontas
After having a first-round bye, the Pocahontas Redskins return to action tomorrow (Friday) night at Schoonover Stadium when they host the Lamar Warriors.
The Redskins finished second in the 4A-3 conference with an 8-2 record. Lamar finished fourth in the 4A-4 with a 2-3 conference record and 5-4 overall record. They come into tomorrow night’s game having lost their last two games of the regular season to Ozark and Mena.
One thing to watch about Lamar is their offense. In nine games they scored 312 points, an average of 34.7 points per game. They gave up 208 points, an average of 23.1 points per game. The Redskins averaged 34.5 points a game on offense and gave up an average of 23.9.
Kickoff is at seven tomorrow night at Schoonover.
