Redskins fall to 11-10 in Corning loss

POCAHONTAS-Coming off a 52-34 road loss to Corning on January 30, the Redskins got a chance for redemption Friday night at Schoonover but would come up just short, falling to the Bobcats 49-47 in the final minute of play.
The loss puts Pocahontas at 11-10 overall as they head into their final week of play this week with Highland Tuesday night (results to follow next week) and at Bay on Friday night. The `Skins shot 44 percent to the Bobcats’ 51 percent Friday night and 40 percent from the line to Corning’s 53 percent. Although Pocahontas would outrebound them 22-20, the Redskins tallied 10 turnovers to Corning’s eight to make for a very close game.
