The Pocahontas Redskins jumped to a quick 28-0 first-half lead last Friday night and cruised to a 35-20 win over the Cavemen of Cave City. The win at Cave City improved the Redskins to 2-1 in 4A-3 conference play and 5-1 overall.
“We jumped out early,” Pocahontas Head coach Charles Baty said earlier this week. “Connor Baker had a huge game rushing and our offensive line played extremely well.”
The Redskins scored the first three times they touched the ball to build a 21-0 first quarter lead.
