Pocahontas shuts out Westside in last regular season game

Redskin seniors demonstrate leadership to upcoming players

JONESBORO-The Redskins traveled to Westside Friday night for their last regular season game and held the Warriors to a shutout defeating them 35-0 to finish out the season with an 8-2 record. The  ‘Skins now prepare and set their sites on the post season as play begins this Friday night at Schoonover  against the Gravette Lions in the first round of the 4A state playoffs.  “I thought defensively, anytime you get a shutout, that’s always a great thing,” stated Redskin Head Coach Charles Baty. “I was very ‘very’ proud of our defense. I feel like they continue to get better every week.
