Dolphins closes out 2019 winter season with 2nd place finish

The Dolphins Swim Team wrapped up their 2019 winter season with a 2nd place finish at their home meet Saturday, March 30. Forty-three Dolphins swimmers competed in 208 individual events and 24 relays to earn a total of 877 points. Teams from across Arkansas and Missouri competed at the meet including Pocahontas Dolphins Swim Team, Dart Frog Aquatics from Jonesboro, Jonesboro Jets, Greene County Gators, Mountain Home Hurricanes, Central Arkansas Swim Club from Benton, Seismic Crush Swim Team from Caruthersville, Missouri, Poplar Bluff Swim Club, and Perryville Piranha Swim Team from Missouri.

High point awards were awarded to the top three swimmers in each age group. Four Dolphin swimmers received high point awards. Layton Robinson received third place high point in the 8 and under boys. Landon Fort received second place high point in the 13-14 boys. Samuel Frazier received first place high point in the 15-18 boys, and Skylar Frazier received first place in the 15-18 girls age group.
