Another great Redskins’ football season comes to an end

Despite incredible effort, injuries plague ‘Skins down the stretch
POCAHONTAS - Coming off a tremendous 6-1 conference season, the Redskins began 4A state playoff play last Friday night at Schoonover Stadium before an excited Redskin crowd filled with anticipation. The fourth-seeded Gravette Lions made the journey from northwest Arkansas and, unfortunately for Redskin fans, reportedly had one of their better performances of the season defeating the ‘Skins 37-27 to put an early end to a great Redskin season.
“I felt like our kids played hard,” stated Redskin Head Coach Charles Baty. “I’ve always felt that way. Obviously [I’m] disappointed we lost just like they were.
