Shirley Anne Waymon Reed was born on Wednesday, March 17, 1937, in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Nineteen years and two days after she lost her beloved husband, Dwaine, Shirley passed into heaven during the early hours of Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the age of eighty-seven. Her parents, Fred and Edna (Johnson) Waymon; her brothers, Verl Waymon, and Lawson Bass; and sister, Joyce Cooper, preceded her in death, as did her daughter, Julie Anne Reed; and her granddaughter, Katie Anne Villines Thomas. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Dana Reed Villines; her son, Eddie Reed; granddaughters, Amanda Villines Cowger, and Emily Reed; and grandson-in-law, Jared Thomas. Also loved by Mimi, are her great-grandchildren, Luke Thomas, Sam Cowger, and Julie Kate Cowger. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 16, at 2:00pm at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR. Private burial will be later at Randolph Memorial Gardens in Pocahontas, AR.
