Sarah Christner, 88, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on December 26, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Sarah was born on July 29, 1935, in Elkhart County, Indiana to Owen Jay and Sarah Miller.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Owen Miller and John Miller; sisters Mary Vontrager, Ida Vontrager, and Alice Miller; grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Sarah is survived by her husband Franklin Christner; sons Douglas (Darlene) Christner, Stanley (Lorraine) Christner, Justin (Debbie) Christner, Jim (Laura) Christner, Frank (Ester) Christner, Arnold (Mary) Christner, Stephen (Darlene) Christner, Nathaniel (Renae) Christner all of Warm Springs, Arkansas; daughters Shelby (Jerry) Eigsti, Gloria (Matthew) Eigsti, and Lovina (Rufus) Yoder; many, many grandchildren; sister Edna (Floyd) Graber; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A visitation was held on Thursday, December 28, 2023. The funeral service was held on Friday, December 29, 2023. Sarah was laid to rest in Mount Salem Amish Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Byron Christner, Jonathon Christner, Jerrin Eigsti, Joseph Christner, Enos Christner, Seth Christner, Kylen Eigsti, Nehemiah Christner, and Darris Christner.
