Ruby Irene Burkholder, 94, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on January 24, 2023, at Randolph County Nursing Home. Ruby was born on April 12, 1928, in Ravenden Springs, Arkansas to Thomas and Iva Higgins. Ruby was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Dickey and second husband Ben Burkholder; son Ronald Irwin Dickey; and brother Thomas Doyle Higgins.

Ruby was survived by her son Rob (Amy Hamm) Dickey of Ravenden Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren Ronald Lee Dickey, Matt Break, and Denton Newby; great-grandchildren Payton Break and Tristen Newby.

All services were held at the chapel of Hope Gardens Funeral Home. A visitation was held on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 10:00 am with Terry Miller officiating. The burial took place at Randolph Memorial Gardens.
