ROBERT LEE TAYLOR

Robert Lee Taylor, 78, of Pocahontas departed this life on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Place in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Lee was born in Jonesboro on November 10, 1946, to the late Robert Wenzel Taylor and Eunice Reynolds Taylor. Lee was a cattle farmer and truck driver throughout his life.
Lee immensely enjoyed spending time with his family, children, and grandchildren. However, his favorite parts of those visits were when “The tail lights were headed down the driveway of the farm.” He also enjoyed rodeos, Razorback sports, “apple pie”, NASCAR, and traveling the country. He was never at a loss for a clever comment to bring a smile or embarrassment to your face. He was always fun-loving and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Taylor of Pocahontas; children, Mandy (Steve) Bartholomew of Idabel, OK., and Shane (April) Taylor of Greensboro, NC.; grandchildren, Alexandra Bartholomew of Tulsa, OK., Lauren (Carson) Bartholomew Gee of Stillwater, OK.; great- grandchildren, Eliza Gee and Tristan Gee of Stillwater, OK.; sister, Rita (Wayne) Wileman of Pocahontas; nephews, Kenny (Karen) Martin, Colin (Carla) Martin, Paul Martin, and Jason Taylor along with many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2025, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 18, 2025, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Pat Bodenhamer and Father Stephen Elser officiating.
