Richard Allen Nichols, 74, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Richard was born on August 31, 1949, in Osceola, Arkansas to David Arthur and Marie Nichols.

Richard is preceded in death by his first wife Vickie Louise Nichols; parents David Arthur and Marie Nichols; and sisters Margaret Ann Barnes and Maebell Woodson.

Richard is survived by his wife Anna Nichols; sons Shannon (Holly Stevens) Nichols of Hoxie, Randy Arthur (Rebecca Mulock) Nichols of Pocahontas, Shiloh Barnes, Roudy (Amanda) Patton of Maynard; daughter April (Sharn Kropf) Bradley; daughter-inlaw Kayla Hayes-Roosa; stepsons Cody (Seana) Gaither and Joshua (Shianne) Roosa both of Pocahontas; grandchildren Victoria May Nichols, Hannah Grace Nichols, Christian Alan Nichols, Madalyn Nichols, Bailey Fuentes, Emberly Gaither, Evan Wallen, Ashton Roosa, Legend Roosa, Claire Wake, Konnor (Sarah) Mulock, Zack Young, Raina Guevara, Bradley Wicker, Jared Wicker, Jada Wicker, Allison Patton, Jared Mitchell, Jaxon Mitchell, Madison Mitchell, and Lachlan Barnes Kropf.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private.
