Peggy Jane Davis, 73, of Pocahontas passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at her home. She was born November 13, 1948 in Pocahontas to the late Cecil and Alouis Vandergriff Thatch. She worked as a beautician and greatly enjoyed her career and her clients. She loved to travel and to work in her yard growing beautiful flowers, but her greatest love was her family who meant the world to her. She was a member of Pocahontas First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Alouis Thatch; and by her husband, Andy Davis. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Jamie (David) Lemmons of Pocahontas; granddaughters, Katelyn (Matt) Koons of Pocahontas and Mykala (Trystan) Smith of Jonesboro; great-grandchildren, Claire, Piper, and Grayson Koons all of Pocahontas; sisters, Barbara (J.D.) Brown of Illinois and Vonda (Kenny) Dickey of Pocahontas; special friend, Murrey Grider; and many other relatives and friends. All services will be held in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2-4 PM. Funeral Service will be Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10 AM with Nelson Henderson and Terry Miller officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Eddie Smith, Justin Smith, Tony Guy, Bryan Brown, Matt Koons, and Trystan Smith. Honorary Pallbearer will be David Lemmons.
