Why would he do such a thing?

For what reason on earth would Donald Trump, U.S. President Donald Trump, describe U. S. Senator and Vice-Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris as a “monster”? This word came forth from his mouth the morning after she and Vice President Mike Pence met on the debate stage. And Mr. Trump knew exactly what he was doing when he twice characterized her thus in a call-in to Fox News in which he said, “This monster that was on stage with Mike Pence, who destroyed her last night, by the way, this monster she says, ‘No, no, there won’t be fracking, there won’t be this….Everything she said was a lie!” He has also called Harris many other names. But the name that says everything about Trump and nothing about Senator Harris—that would be the name he felt compelled to repeat, just in case someone missed it the first time.
