In the News .... the eclipse

We watched the solar eclipse on television as it started in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. That area experienced a total eclipse and the viewing was pretty awesome.
The eclipse then traveled west to east, in a 70-mile-wide band of prime viewing allowing people all over the country to view a total solar eclipse. Although our area did not have a total eclipse, we did see the darkening and eerie look to the outside world. Not having viewing glasses, we had to settle for seeing photos and videos of the event.
