Mask up - stop the spread ...

As the COVID-19 cases increase in Randolph County and Arkansas and in many other states, people are struggling to cope with the unprecedented reality of the times.

With the focus on reopening schools where parents, teachers and students are all facing an unknown situation, it’s natural to feel anxiety. Many parents are not happy about sending their children to school where they have no control over their welfare. Teachers have also expressed concern about reopening - knowing the tasks they are facing might be impossible. There is the real possibility of contracting the virus in a close environment such as school.

Reluctantly shopping at a local store last weekend, I noticed none of the visiting going on in the aisles that is usually the case. People were getting their groceries and goods and getting out of there. The whole point is to try to stop the spread of the virus. However, I did see a couple of people not wearing masks. They should not be allowed to shop in the store.
