On the lighter side...

Who needs TV. Our back yard is pretty entertaining.

Earlier in the spring, a green tree frog took up residence under the cover of our deck furniture.

I would gently move him to a nearby tree by offering him a perch on my hand and he would jump right on and let me take him to the tree.

That night, he would be back. This went on for a couple of weeks and I dutifully checked before sitting on the sofa. One day he stopped coming and I sighed to my husband that I missed the frog. He rolled his eyes of course. I just hope he found a more suitable home and didn’t get eaten by... something... the frog I mean.

The birds in my back yard are busy building (or refurbishing) their nests for another batch of babies.
