This and That ...

Randolph County is one of the few or maybe the only county in the state that has three State Representatives and two State Senators. The county was carved up years ago during the Mike Beebe Administration.

Now, after the last General Election in 2018, Randolph County has no representative who actually lives in the county.

The city of Pocahontas is part of District 20 and is represented by Sen. Blake Johnson of Corning. Sen. James Sturch of Batesville is the State Senator for District 19 which encompasses the rest of the county.
