Stella Jane Mitchell
Stella Jane Mitchell of Pocahontas, loving mother, wife, sister, and friend went to her eternal home on October 22, 2016. Just one month after her 64th birthday, Stella passed away in Mountain Home, surrounded by her family. She was born September 28, 1952, in Imboden, the daughter of Halbert and Louise Dail Due. She married Danny Mitchell on July 3, 1969, in Pocahontas, and worked as a supervisor at Scentations and as a homemaker. She was gentle, loving, and taught us all patience and kindness. She will be deeply missed, but her loving memory will live on in the lives that she touched. Stella is survived by her husband, Danny Mitchell of Pocahontas, three daughters, Tracy (Roy Smith) Denny of Van Buren, Denise (Anthony Thomas) Mitchell of Mountain Home, and Samantha (Ewald Kirschner) Mitchell of Pocahontas, three grandchildren, Charles (Tanya) Guilliams of Van Buren, Christopher (Izabella) Sims of Anchorage, Alaska, and Noah Denny of Van Buren, great-grandchildren, Melody and Sebastian Sims; three brothers, Paul Due of Ravenden, Frank Due Jr. of Pocahontas, and Roger (Imsoon) Due of Cheltenham, Va., and two sisters, Melissa Zink of Thayer, Mo., and Linda Taffar of Flint, Mich.
