Paul Junior Brown
Paul Junior Brown passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, in Rogers from vascular dementia.
Paul was born May 15, 1943, in Dalton, Ark., to German and Opal Brown. He was a graduate of Dalton High School. He lived half of his life in Black Rock where he and his wife, Janice raised their four children, Libby, Dean, Lindy and Janet.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, German and Opal Brown and his brothers, Russell and Tommy Brown. He is survived by his wife, Janice Brown of Black Rock, his daughter, Libby Bookout and son-in-law Wesley Bookout of Raleigh, North Carolina, a son, Dean Brown of Black Rock, a daughter, Lindy Brown of Rogers, a daughter, Janet Hannay, son-in-law, Josh Hannay and two grandchildren, Oliver and Hudson Hannay, all of Bentonville, a sister, Hazel Allison of Pocahontas and a sister, Birdie Allison of Little Rock.
Paul was most wellknown for owning the J & J Truck Stop off Highway 67 in Walnut Ridge. He made many friends with those who passed through the truck stop and restaurant. Paul liked to laugh and loved a good joke. He was very proud of his kids and greatly enjoyed his grandchildren. Paul will be missed every day and thought of often.
