Joye Nadine Obarts
Pocahontas - Joye Nadine Obarts, 82, passed away on November 29, 2018, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro.
Joye was born on July 13, 1936, in Ravenden Springs, Ark., to the late John and Bessie Davis Allison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 38 years, Roy Obarts; brothers, Hurbert Allison, William Allison, Ray Allison; sisters, Geneva Looney, Beatrice Odom, Iva Mae Witcher and Melveda Murray.
She is survived by daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Obarts of Pocahontas; brother, Wayne (Carolyn) Allison of Cushing, Okla.; sisters-in-law, Hazel Allison of Pocahontas and Carolyn Allison of Perkins, Okla.; along with nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Sunday, December 2, 2018, from 1 - 2 p.m., at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service immediately followed at 2 p.m. with James Coker officiating. Burial followed in Cross Roads Cemetery in Portia.
Pallbearers: Kenny Koenig, Junior Tribble, Donnie Tribble, Jessy Tribble, Glenn Obarts and Mike Jansen.
