James Delbert Colvey Jr.
James Delbert Colvey Jr., 62, of Pocahontas, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. James was born on October 16, 1954, in Gary, Ind., to James Colvey Sr., and Gladys Winfrey Colvey. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son. He was a member of the Crosstrails Cowboy Church in Pocahontas. James is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Healey, sister-in-law, Phyllis Healey. James is survived by his wife, Charlene Annette Frenzel Colvey of the home; sons, Josh (Misty) Colvey of Jonesboro, Daniel (Ashley) Hackworth of Ravenden Springs, and Michael (Cassie) Hackworth of Maynard; brother, Ray Healey of Kalamazoo, Mich.; sister, Barbara (Fred) White of Indiana; grandchildren, Logan, Remington, and Brasen Hackworth, and Michael, and Casey Colvey. Visitation and funeral service will both be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m.; Ray Foreman, officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tyler Whitehead, Daniel Hackworth, Michael Hackworth, Anthony Brown, Tim Whitaker, and Tyler Brooks. Honorary pallbearers are Les McPherson, James Murphrey, and Henry Touchton. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Fears Family Funeral Home.
