Elsie Deloris Theobald Hall

Elsie Deloris Theobald Hall, 93, of Pocahontas, Ark., departed this life on Monday, December 31, 2018. Elsie was born on Wednesday, April 29, 1925, in Muscatine, Iowa, to William and Pearl White Theobald.

Elsie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Pocahontas.

Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl White Theobald; husband, Clifford C. Hall Sr.; brothers, Carl Theobald and Burt Beverly; and a sister, Vera Carlisle.

Elsie is survived by sons, Clifford (Marylou) Hall Jr. of Ash Flat, Ark., and Mark Hall of Indianapolis, Ind.; her daughter, Rachel (Greg) Jones of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Jeff Hall, Scott Hall, Jennifer Edwards, Lindsey Hall, Stacey Hall, Chelsey Pierce, Corey Hall, Nathan Jones, Eric Jones, and Matthew Jones; and nine great-grandchildren.

All services were held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home in Pocahontas. Visitation was from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., on Friday, January 4, 2019. Elsie’s funeral service began at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 5, 2019; Eric Moffett officiating. Burial followed in the Masonic Cemetery.

Those honored to carry Elsie to her final earthly resting place were Jeff Hall, Scott Hall, Nathan Jones, Eric Jones, Matthew Jones, and Billy Edwards.
