He frequently participated in God’s worship with other denominations and people in all Christian walks of life.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Daly Bransford Holt.

After a twoyear service with the U.S. Navy in Camp Le’Jeune in North Carolina, Dennis returned to his hometown of Pocahontas to start his dental career. Dennis retired in 2016 after 43 years of practice. His dental care was not his only passion. His love for Christ and sharing the joy of a relationship with God with others was something for which he was known. The community of Pocahontas knew Dennis as a counselor, a praise and worship leader, a mentor, prayer warrior and spiritual advisor. He authored multiple books and created beautiful music on several recorded gospel albums. Music was an integral part of his life and he gave great joy to all those around him with his singing and guitar playing.
