Here and There
We’ve been very lucky this summer weather wise. While the west is struggling with record high temperatures and horrific forest fires, the east has suffered from destructive flooding and high temperatures. There’s been a big high pressure out west and a big low back east.
Here, being in between, we’ve had cool air from Canada pouring down the Mississippi valley. I can’t remember a cooler July and August. Lots of highs in the eighties and descent rains for much of the summer. Where are the high nineties and hundreds we often experience in the dog days of summer? This hasn’t stopped some from complaining about the weather here, but I’m afraid that’s to be expected. Some folks just feel the need to complain even when there’s nothing to complain about.
