POCAHONTAS – During the Aug. 20 regular meeting of the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Executive Director Tim Scott discussed possible opportunities with the Board to strengthen community involvement.

POCAHONTAS – Voters in the Pocahontas School District will soon cast their vote in a special election regarding a 3.44 millage increase to fund construction of a new high school and competition gymnasium.
Pocahontas Junior High School students visit outside Monday morning while wearing masks before the start of their 8:00 class. Superintendent Jerry Martens said everything went very well overall with no major issue.
According to the Arkansas Department of Health on Wednesday morning, Randolph County now has 36 active positive cases of COVID-19 and 291 cumulative cases.
