POCAHONTAS — The Randolph County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors met last Thursday, June 18, and discussed the possibility of cancelling all remaining Chamber events through the end of the year due to COVID-19 concerns.
Even though the annual Juneteenth celebration had been canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic and the guidelines from the CDC over the potential dangers of large gatherings, the Eddie Mae Herron Center still honored the event with the assistance of informal and spontaneous support from several members of the community.
