Wreck claims lives of two; Other driver charged

REYNO- On  Wednesday, December 21, at approximately 11:18 a.m., an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck collided at the Clay-Randolph County line on Highway 67/62 resulting in the deaths of two people and one person being flown to Regional One Health in Memphis.
Killed in the crash were Christopher Bryant, 43, of Carlisle and Brenda Christopher, 66, of Russellville. Shirley Bumpas, 65, of Beebe, was airlifted to Memphis with serious injuries. Bryant was the driver of the 2006 Ford pickup with Christopher and Bumpas both passengers. According to police, the semi truck was traveling south when it crossed the centerline, striking the pickup truck head-on in the northbound lane.
