Story says infrastructure improvement a main priority for 2017 Mayor Kary

POCAHONTAS- Pocahontas Mayor Kary Story will be giving his annual address at next week’s City Council meeting and will be focusing primarily on overall city infrastructure as a central priority for the upcoming year.

Story stated on Tuesday that he’s still on target for and hoping to get $750,000 to $1 million worth of asphalt laid during his term and that one of the major roads he plans on redoing this year will be Old County Road, with all the newfound traffic. Story explained that they will be resurfacing it and following that will branch out and begin redoing some of the side streets in town.
