Pocahontas High School Interact students honored with pinning ceremony

POCAHONTASMembers of the Pocahontas High School Interact Club were pinned during a special ceremony held at the Jan. 30 Pocahontas Rotary Club meeting in honor of their service and leadership.

Members pinned included Interact Club President Madigan Chester, a PHS junior, as well as juniors Gage Guthrie, Interact Treasurer Rachel Baltz, Emily Long, Faith Banks, Interact Secretary Jenna Kester, Eli Smith, Gracie Fears, and seniors Orianna Massey, Jordan Champion, and Juliana Griffith (not able to be in attendance). Interact Club sponsor, Brandon Kazzee, a PHS social studies teacher, was also recognized and pinned during the ceremony.

Pocahontas Rotary Club President Erin Mathews noted this is the first time they’ve been able to honor their Interact students with a pinning ceremony.
