Intermodal concerned about adequate housing

POCAHONTAS- The NEA Intermodal Authority discussed at length Thursday morning at Black River Technical College the direction the Board will be taking in regard to sufficient housing and overall funding for the necessary growth of the Northeast Arkansas area as they prepare for a new executive director for the upcoming year.
The Intermodal has recently made headway in their search for a new director with the announcement at the beginning of the meeting of two new viable applicants. The applicants have not been named as of yet and the Board went into executive session at the close of the meeting to discuss the applicants and their qualifications.
“The prospects are looking good for the Intermodal coming into the New Year,” stated Executive Committee Chair Nick Manatt. “Hopefully we can get together and possibly have a new executive director to guide us throughout this next year.”
