Foundation set up to revitalize, make improvements to hospital

POCAHONTAS- For the first time in its nearly 70 year history, a foundation has been formed by local citizens in effort to restore interest and revitalize Five Rivers Medical Center by raising project-specific donation money.
 
Long-time area businessman and owner of Pocahontas Aluminum, Larry Don Rose, said that talks of a foundation first began around the middle of 2017. He said the foundation’s main focus will be to make much-needed improvements to the hospital as it continues to serve the area.
