Electric Cooperatives executive discusses key issues at Rotary

POCAHONTAS—Kirkley Thomas, vice president of governmental affairs for Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc., was guest speaker at the Aug. 28 Pocahontas Rotary luncheon where he spoke about the coop’s history as well as key issues they’re currently facing.

Kirkley noted two of the main issues they face involves the use of solar energy and battery shortage.
