Election workers at the Randolph County Courthouse receive boxes of ballots from various precincts on Tuesday night. A total of 5,686 ballots were cast in the Nov. 6, General Election out of 8,280 Randolph County registered voters.POCAHONTAS—The Black River Technical College Board of Trustees approved a motion at their quarterly meeting on Thursday to authorize the BRTC Nursing Department to move forward with a plan to expand the nursing program to the Paragould campus. They will also add a traditional RN program and restructure the PN program at the Pocahontas campus. Ramonda Housh, BRTC Dean for Allied Health and RN Program Chair, and Tonya Hankins, BRTC Director of Practical Nursing, gave a presentation to the Board regarding the changes and steps they would need to take in the proposal process.
