County now has 44 active cases of COVID
POCAHONTAS – According to the Arkansas Department of Health, Randolph County now has 44 active positive cases of COVID-19, which is down two from last week. The cumulative count, however, increased by 46 to 265 total cumulative cases as of Tuesday night.
Data from ADH showed 3,308 people in the county to test negative while 11 have died and 210 have recovered. Statewide, there were 5,898 active cases out of 53,487 cumulative, with 619 deaths and 46,970 recoveries.
Across the area, Clay County had a reported 26 active cases with 147 cumulative, five deaths and 116 recoveries. Lawrence County had 18 active with 231 cumulative, nine deaths and 204 recoveries. In Sharp County, there were 19 active with 128 cumulative, five deaths and 104 recoveries. Craighead County had 175 active cases with 1,498 cumulative, 14 deaths and 1,309 recoveries while Greene County had 83 active with 544 cumulative, three deaths and 458 recoveries.
