County now with 36 active COVID-19 cases
According to the Arkansas Department of Health on Wednesday morning, Randolph County now has 36 active positive cases of COVID-19 and 291 cumulative cases.
ADH showed 3,485 people in the county to test negative while 12 have died and 243 have recovered. Statewide, there were 5,312 active cases with 57,374 cumulative, 711 deaths and 51,351 recoveries.
Across the area, Clay County had 22 active cases with 165 cumulative, five deaths and 138 recoveries. Lawrence County had 17 active with 245 cumulative, 10 deaths and 218 recoveries. In Sharp County, there were 16 active with 137 cumulative, five deaths and 116 recoveries. Craighead County had 217 active cases with 1,701 cumulative, 14 deaths and 1,470 recoveries while Greene County had 61 active with 587 cumulative, four deaths and 522 recoveries.
Across the nation, according to data from John Hopkins University, there were 3,726,008 active cases with 5,779,707 cumulative, 171 deaths and 1,865,580 recoveries. Globally, there were 8,324,55 active with 23,930,649 cumulative, 820,246 deaths and 15,606,094 recoveries.
