Christmas Through the Decades

Parade is tonight at 6 p.m.

The grounds of the historic Randolph County Courthouse shine brightly once again this Christmas season with traditional lights and décor that is sure enough to bring about holiday cheer, as downtown Pocahontas prepares to host its annual Christmas Parade tonight (Thursday) at 6. This year’s theme is “Christmas Through the Decades.” Sign in time is 5 p.m. with line up at 5:30 and step off at 6. The parade, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, will step off from the First Baptist Church and First United Methodist Church parking lots on Thomasville, and then take a left on Broadway St., left on Bettis St., left on Everett St., right on Marr St, and end at the Chase McDonnough Tennis Courts.
