BRTC to make changes to schedule beginning spring

To offer classes on Fridays, evenings and Saturdays
POCAHONTAS- The Black River Technical College Board of Directors held their quarterly meeting in the Gaines Technology Center on November 2 in which Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Sheila Taylor stated that the college will begin offering classes on Fridays as well as in the evenings and on Saturdays.

The new schedule will take affect in the spring of 2018 and Taylor noted that the new schedule is now finalized. “We may be tweaking just a little bit, adding some courses as we see the need to and adding sections as I hope we need to,” stated Taylor. “But it’s a little bit of a different schedule than we’ve had in the past, so you will see a full range both face-to-face and online [courses].”
