Blues music to be lauded at Marr Street Jam show

Since 1976 every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month in order to celebrate and recognize achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of blacks in U.S. history.
 
Marr Street productions and the Eddie Mae Herron Center are teaming up on February 17 to recognize the contributions of African Americans who were instrumental in the history of blues music.
