Mary Virginia Martin, 49, of Pocahontas passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born September 29, 1973 in Wynne to the late Larry and Helen Belcher Smith. Mary was a registered nurse at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Mark Smith.

Mary is survived by her husband, Michael Martin; daughter, Betty (Jeremy) Hunter of Pocahontas; brothers, Larry (Kim) Smith Jr. of Vanndale and Jason Smith of Jonesboro; sister, Connie (Bill) Gates of Tuckerman; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, October 28, 2022 from 4-5 PM at the Church of God of Prophecy with a funeral service beginning at 5 PM with Ashli Clements officiating.

Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
