Mary Kathyrn Grissom, 60, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, in Jonesboro. She was born on Friday, January 5, 1962, in Collinsville, Illinois, to Al and Polly Stroud Holdener.

Mary was a loving, tenderhearted woman who loved her plants, flowers, and, above all, her grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Polly, and brothers, Darrel and Joseph Holdener.

Mary is survived by her husband, Roger Grissom; daughter, Nicole Grissom, of Pocahontas; granddaughters, Sadie, and Maisie Roberts; sisters, Beth (Frank) Pace, of Granite City, Illinois, and Karen (John) Thatch, of Pocahontas; Sister in law’s Carlene Cox, Kelly Grissom, of Pocahontas, and Mother-in-Law Joyce Grissom of Pocahontas, and her beloved fur baby Gizmo.
