News from the Randolph County Humane Society

Many readers will remember “Three Dog Night,” an American rock band formed in 1967. Their name stems from the native Australian method of keeping warm during cold, outback nights. If it’s just so-so cold, you could sleep with one dog. If it’s colder still, two. And on really cold nights, three. Fortunately, we don’t have too many “three dog nights” here in Arkansas, but it’s still comforting to have a dog on one’s bed during the night.
