OCC honors First National Bank on 100 years
Representatives from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in Little Rock were in Walnut Ridge March 7 to make a special presentation to First National Bank, which serves Lawrence, Randolph and Craighead counties.
The presentation was made in front of bank board members and several bank officers.
Rosalyn Anthony, assistant deputy comptroller, Little Rock Field Office, along with Molly Smith, a National Bank Examiner with the OCC, made the presentation of a framed certificate recognizing the bank’s 100-year anniversary.
“The OCC congratulates the First National Bank of Lawrence County on its 100th anniversary. Community banks like First National support the prosperity of the local economy and serve an important role in meeting the financial needs of businesses and customers in cities and towns across the nation,” said Anthony.
