Kenneth Ervin Lucy, 87, of Pocahontas passed away Thursday,

June 19, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 25, 1937 in Rosie, AR to the late Kenneth Robert and Carmel Ann Wheeler Lucy. Kenneth proudly served in the United States Navy from 1956-1988. He enjoyed trail riding and car shows and was a member of Shannon Baptist Church. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Carmel Lucy, granddaughter; Ashley Nicole Johnston; and brothers, JR Lucy, Loyd Lucy, Billy Lucy, Danny Ray Lucy, and Dennis Lucy. Kenneth is survived by his wife Violeta Lucy; daughters, Karen (Jody) Johnston, Emily (Malcolm) Todd, and Elizabeth (Chad) Montgomery; eight grandchildren, Aarron (Tiffany) Johnston, Amber (Kurt) Schoolcraft, Mack Todd, Lexi (Remington) Hulse, Savannah Todd, Jagger Montgomery, C.K. Montgomery, and Lucas Todd; four great grandchildren, Klaire Johnston, Xavier Johnston, Olivia Schoolcraft, and Rylee Schoolcraft; three brothers, Wayne (Barbara) Lucy, Bobby (Barbara) Lucy, and Junior (Wanda) Lucy; sister, Shirley (Larry) Sutterfield; and many other relatives and friends. All services will be held in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24, 2025 from 5-7 PM. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 10 AM with Larry Rogers officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Malcolm Todd, Mack Todd, Aarron Johnston, Jagger Montgomery, Jody Johnston, and Chad Montgomery.
