J u a n i t a McCandless 91, of Po c a h o n t a s passed away M o n d a y December 27, 2021. She was born March 31, 1930, to Hite Johnson and Mazie Stevens J o h n s o n in Attica, Arkansas. Juanita was a housewife and worked many years as a factory worker for Cinch. She was also a lifetime member of Westridge Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dean McCandless; four brothers Carmel, Glenden, Bill and Farris Johnson.

She is survived by her children Steve McCandless of Pocahontas, Michael (Rhonda) McCandless of Pocahontas and Donna Haney of Jonesboro; grandchildren Kevin Haney of Little Rock, Kristi Barnes of Pocahontas, Mandi Ward of Pocahontas, Chase and Katrina McCandless of

Searcy, Adam and Kari McCandless of Black Rock and Sara McCandless Smith of Bono; great grandchildren Shane Ward, Jason Ward, Peyton B a r n e s , H a i l e y B a r n e s , Jaxon Dail Karson, William Haney, Finley Smith, Coloson Smith, Kirk McCandless, Jude McCandless and Ryan McCandless, many other family and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Tuesday January 11, 2022, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 P.M. with Chase McCandless officiating. Burial will follow services in the Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Kevin Haney, Chase McCandless, Adam McCandless, Shane Ward, Jason Ward, Peyton Barnes, and William Haney.
