Joyce Ann (Kerley) Echols, 86, of Maynard passed away December 17, 2023, at Pocahontas Health & Rehab.

Joyce was born to the late Clifford and Sadie Kerley on August 16, 1937, in Arkansas and was the owner/groomer of Maynard All breed pet grooming for more than 35 years. In her younger years, she spent running her grooming shop and owning a restaurant in Texas. She enjoyed traveling and watching the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. She was of Pentecost faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Sadie Kerley; husband of 58 years, Derl Echols; daughter Sherri Echols; granddaughter Jamie Echols and daughter-in-law, Deb Echols. She is survived by sons, David Echols of Paragould and Eddie (Aerie) Echols of Hawaii; grandchildren, Mikell Edington, Scott, David, Robert and Russell Echols, and Dawn Carter; special nieces, Sandra (Bruce) Bommarito, Rhonda (Roger) Courson and Sonya Kerley; four great grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Northside Cemetery in Maynard with Calvin Botard officiating.
