Jerry DeWayne Richardson, 71, of Pocahontas passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born June 24, 1951 in Success to the late James and Exie Loveless Richardson. He was an avid fisherman and a supervisor at Emerson Electric.

He was preceded in death by parents, James and Exie Richardson; brother, Euan Richardson; and father-in-law, Wayland Wheeler.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Freda Gale Wheeler Richardson; two sons, Jeremy (Nichole) Richardson of Dubach, LA and Joshua (Myra) Richardson of Stuart, NE; two grandchildren, Allie Gail Richardson and Parker Brazzel of Dubuch, LA; brothers, Sammy Richardson of Beloit, WI, Weldon Richardson of Paragould, and Warren (Carla) Richardson of Knobel; sisters, Judy (David) Ladd of Corning and Diana (Mark) Pirtle of Jonesboro; motherin- law, Eunice Wheeler of Pocahontas, brotherin law and sister-in-law, Larry and Pat Carter of Pocahontas, special niece and caregiver, Shannon Barr of Pocahontas; many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 6-8 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Cremation will take place following the visitation.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David Clark, David Cline, Kevin Tharp, Tommy Dunlap, Mike Tucker, John Jenkins, Rick Barr, and Shawn Carter.
