James Stephen (Steve) Johnson 79 of Thousand Oaks, CA. died March 16th 2023.

He was born Dec 27th 1943 in Success, Ar. The son of the late Thurman and Doris Johnson of Reyno, Ar. He was preceded in death by two brothers, C. T Johnson and Roger Johnson, two sisters, Catherine Husereau and Patrica (Pat) Chinnock.

He is survived by his wife Mary Johnson of Thousand Oaks Ca, two sons, Darren Johnson of Bend, Or and Russell Johnson of Sacramento Ca, one brother, Mark Johnson of Reyno Ar. Four sisters, Diana Pritchard of Carson Ca, Mary McElroy of Thousand Oaks, Ca, June Clark of Pocahontas, Ar and Ruth Thompson of Jonesboro Ar.

He graduated from high school at Biggers, Ar and graduated from college at UCLA with a doctorate in chemical engineering.

Steve loved music, played guitar and sang with friends for many years.

He was well loved by his friends and family.
